Syrah

"Six Rats" (a play on words as it is pronounced "see rah" in French) is a wonderfully fresh and vibrant 100% un-wooded Syrah with loads of red and black fruits, sweet tannins, spicy and racy and an ample mouth feel.

2015 AOC Vacqueyras Le Colombier Vieilles Vignes

80% Grenache Noir & 20% Mourvèdre

Sustainably farmed with the oldest planted vines from 1902 and certified organic with this vintage.. An elegant wine with silky tannins, it has a nice garnet color. Red fruit appear immediately on the nose and in the mouth, the wine reveals a lot of fruit and has a persistent length. It sees no ageing in wood in order to maintain the fruit. Recommended to go with Mediterranean foods, grilled lamb, other red meat and medium to strong flavoured cheeses.Total production is 2,200 cases.

"...Made from 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre, from vines averaging 60 years or more in age, and aged all in concrete tanks, its deep purple color is followed by an explosive bouquet of blackberries, crushed rocks, ground herbs and garrigue. Possessing fabulous purity of fruit, plenty of concentration and an expansive, layered profile, drink it anytime over the coming 8-10 years."

40% Viognier, 30% Marsanne & 30% Grenache Blanc

Certified Organic; grown on a sandstone terroire. Fermented and aged in stainless steel, the fruity and fresh character of the Viognier and the Marsanne is balanced by the soft body provided by the Grenache Blanc.

A versatile wine that compliments with white fish in creamy sauce; white meat; roast chicken; pasta with gorgonzola; seafood with curry; crab cakes; and Cajun food.

"The nose on this full-bodied blend of Grenache Blanc, Marsanne and Viognier is initially quite smoky and earthy. Aeration and time tease out aromas of crisp pineapple and lemon accented by hints of cashew. 2017 AOC Vacqueyras Cuvée G

50% Grenache Noir & 50% Syrah

Certified Organic; grown on a clay, sandstone and limestone terroir. This wine undergoes a 12-month maturation in one year old French barrels and shows a bountiful bouquet of flowers and ripe dark fruits.   Vinous but finely balanced, Cuvée G shows silky tannins and exceptional length. Will reward cellaring up to 2027.

Delicious with beef tenderloin with morels.
