Since 1750, the lands of Château Chatain have been producing wine. This vineyard covers 6 hectares. The grape varieties that make up this wine are typical of Libournais. The de La Guéronnière family, with its 4th generation of winemakers, practices classic winemaking and a long aging period of twelve months in oak barrels. The wines of Château Chatain are fruity and marked by the tannins of the terroir.

2018 AOC Lalande de Pomerol Château Chatain

70% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc & 15% Cabernet Sauvignon

Planted in clay-limestone soil, the varietals of this appellation produced a generous, velvety yet nervous wine, loads of fruit and a beautiful ruby red colour that exhibits hues of roof tiles with age.
