The main aims of Azienda Dei are to produce wines whose characteristics represent their terroir, and to promote the high quality of Vino Nobile and the original grape varieties of the region which give their wines very distinct characteristics.
In 1964, Alibrando Dei, Maria Caterina’s grandfather, bought the first part of the estate, Bossona. This first vineyard is gorgeous for its location and soil, a sort of amphitheater where the wind blows with a certain constancy. The Dei estate covers an area of 100 ha and the altitude is about 300 metres above sea level. The location is ideal for the production of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Rosso di Montepulciano.
Thanks to the quality of their soil and family's dedication to regionality and tradition, the wines of Azienda Dei are known for their excellence.
